Graubünden forscht – The Young Researchers Convention is organized by the Graduate School Graubünden and will take place at the Congress Centre Davos from September 23 to 24, 2020. This is your opportunity to present your research face-to-face to researchers from your own discipline and other disciplines. The best presentations will receive a scientific award and prize money.

“Graubünden forscht” provides a stage for young scientists to present their latest research. The Graduate School Graubünden is inviting all member and partner institutions of Academia Raetica as well as the research institutions from the neighboring cantons and regions, especially St. Gallen, Liechtenstein, South Tyrol and Tyrol. Researchers from non-member/non-partner institutions are also welcome to participate, if they carry out research in or about the Grisons or the alpine environment. The event promotes the scientific and personal exchange of scientists, between different institutions, disciplines, and across national borders.

The Graduate School Graubünden supports scientists in the region, strengthens the network between the Grisons-based research institutions and the Swiss universities, and promotes research and education in Graubünden.

The supporting program will include a keynote lecture and a workshop. As an important part of the conference dinner the Graduate School Graubünden will honor researchers who have recently completed their doctorate in collaboration with a member institution of Academia Raetica in an award ceremony. They will receive a certificate for academic excellence.
