Project Leader Science Management
Since November 1, 2019, Anja Schilling Hoyle works as a project leader in science management at the Graduate School Graubünden. In this function, she focuses in particular on scientific exchange and cooperation, the organization of education and training, and fundraising.
Most recently, she worked as project manager for the Greenland Circumnavigation Expedition GLACE at the Swiss Polar Institute. In addition to her work for the Graduate School Graubünden, she will support the University of Zurich in organising the World Biodiversity Forum (Davos, 23-28 February 2020) until the end of February 2020. Thanks to her previous activities, she is well connected within the Bündner research landscape and internationally.
She holds a degree in geography and specializes in project management and science communication. As conference manager, she has organized various international scientific conferences, such as the DACA-13 in 2013 and the POLAR2018 in 2018, both in Davos.
She is married and has a daughter; in her spare time she enjoys walking, mountain biking and skiing outdoors.
